Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krokodil Zelenij!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, General Zod!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zod scores with a hook to the body. Zelenij takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Zelenij uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zod.
Zelenij avoids the body shot from Zod.
Zod takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zod throws a poor cross that misses

and Zelenij counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Zod keeping moving, preventing Zelenij from controlling successfully.
Zod really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zelenij. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Krokodil Zelenij just wasn't active enough.
Zelenij slips under a jab from Zod.
Zod throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zod throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zelenij stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zod fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zelenij looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Zod missing with a left hand there. Zelenij was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Zod loads up on a big right hand but Zelenij slips the punch.

The crowd cheers as Zod lands an impressive looking overhand right. Zelenij doesn't seem phased though.

Zod lands a glancing blow to the side of Zelenij's head.
Zelenij moves to clinch but Zod breaks away
and Zod counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zod changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zod stuffs the takedown attempt from Zelenij. Zelenij gets slowly back to his feet.
Zelenij tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zod lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Zelenij can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Zod and Zelenij drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Zod.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). General Zod!
