Sparger's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pledge Allegiance to the Swag by T.I. feat. Rick Ross. Rob Sparger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beowulf throws a head kick that misses.

Beowulf slips a jab from Sparger.
Beowulf throws a series of punches but Sparger avoids them all with ease.
Sparger lands a right hook to the body.
Sparger looks to land a right hand but Beowulf moved out of range.

Sparger bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beowulf's head backwards.

It looks like Liberius Beowulf has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sparger waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Beowulf. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Beowulf to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sparger wants to get up but he can't break Beowulf's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Sparger passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Sparger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sparger looks to land a left hand but Beowulf moved out of range nicely.

Beowulf lands a leg kick that knocks Sparger off balance momentarily.
Beowulf takes one on the button.
Beowulf misses with a lunging right hand
and Sparger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Liberius Beowulf's cut even more.
Sparger thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Beowulf makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Liberius Beowulf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beowulf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Beowulf takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sparger connects with a stiff jab that staggers Beowulf - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
