Scope has chosen Marry the Canvas! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rhys Cao has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao connects with a jab.
Cao bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Michael Scope has been cut.

Cao feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scope sprawling to the canvas! Scope rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cao finish him?!

Scope is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scope walks straight into a right hand from Cao - that's dropped him! Cao jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Scope from any more punishment! Scope complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
