Sanders comes into the arena with Enter Sand Man-Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Pedro Sanchez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Sanchez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sanders is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sanchez to the mat. Sanchez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanders can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Sanders throws a strike but Sanchez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

and Sanchez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Sanchez throws a lazy right hand but Sanders sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sanders bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanders is sitting in close to Sanchez's body. Sanchez has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sanders is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sanders is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sanchez.
