Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaz Jayboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moto shoots in and drives through. Jayboy sprawls well.
Moto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jayboy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Moto on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jayboy tries to score a body lock takedown but Moto shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Jayboy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moto fails to land the takedown.
Jayboy stalks Moto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moto's face. Moto staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Yoshi Moto has been cut.
Moto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshi Moto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moto tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Jayboy counters with a head kick that drops Moto - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Moto is rocked!

Jayboy is looking for a kimura here.
Moto seems to have got his legs back now.

Moto is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jayboy pulls his head out easily.
Jayboy is keen to just control but Moto is a slippery customer.
Moto tries to get to full guard but Jayboy has control of the leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moto manages to get to full guard.
Jayboy looks gassed!
Moto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Moto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jayboy defends it well.

Moto throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jayboy tries to roll over but Moto keeps him under control.

Jayboy is defending against the submission attempts here by Moto.
Jayboy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moto is looking for a kimura but Jayboy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moto to get the leverage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Moto wants to advance to full mount but Jayboy doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Jayboy scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Moto has his takedown stuffed

and Jayboy counters by moving into the clinch.
Moto tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Moto can't get the takedown.
Moto looking for a takedown.
Moto lands a body shot.
A bit of stalling here from Moto.
Jayboy prevents a takedown attempt there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaz Jayboy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Yoshi Moto's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Moto forces Jayboy back against the cage and clinches.
Jayboy wants to break the clinch but can't.

Moto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moto misses with a takedown attempt

and Jayboy counters with a shoot takedown. Moto fights it but they end up in guard.
Jayboy wants to get up but he can't break Moto's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Moto is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jayboy frees his head nicely. Oh but Moto has switched to an armbar! Jayboy is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
