Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Tibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor shoots in for a takedown but Tibbs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tibbs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGregor.
McGregor shoots in and drives through. Tibbs sprawls well.
McGregor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William McGregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGregor swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tibbs.
McGregor shoots in looking for a takedown. Tibbs tries to sprawl out of it but McGregor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tibbs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A solid leg kick lands there for Tibbs.
Nice takedown defense from Tibbs. No joy for McGregor on that attempt.
McGregor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tibbs as he avoids it easily.
Tibbs lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tibbs leaves McGregor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McGregor avoids the head kick by Tibbs.

and Tibbs counters with a one-two to the body.
Tibbs misses with a few strikes there.
Terry Tibbs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A lazy left from Tibbs finds it's target.

McGregor takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Tibbs uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGregor has time to react.
Tibbs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGregor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tibbs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGregor tries for a takedown but Tibbs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tibbs scores with a decent looking hook.
A big left from McGregor misses.
Horrible takedown by McGregor or perhaps it was just good defense by Tibbs which made him look bad.
No luck for McGregor with that takedown attempt.
Tibbs circles away from the clinch attempt.

McGregor shoots in looking for a takedown but Tibbs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGregor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tibbs lands a left and a right that send McGregor crashing to the mat, dazed. Tibbs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

McGregor is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tibbs drops McGregor with a naaaaasty hook - McGregor is in real trouble here! Tibbs dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
