Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flying Knee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Cormier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flying Knee!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knee misses with a wild body shot.
Cormier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knee.
Knee takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Knee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No joy there for Knee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cormier throws a right and a left that Knee avoids nicely.
Knee lands a nice shot that snaps Cormier's head back.
Cormier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cormier takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cormier manages to avoid it.
Knee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knee wants it to stay on the feet.
Cormier looks to land a right hand but Knee moved out of range.

Cormier closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knee to the mat! Knee manages to get full guard.

Knee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cormier postures up in Knee's guard and throws a big left but Knee blocks it.
Cormier has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cormier doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cormier manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Knee is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cormier throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Knee's body to avoid the submission. Knee has instead reached around Cormier's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Knee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Flying Knee!
An out of breath and clearly excited Flying Knee thanked 1337 ANZAC for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
