Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ko Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I WALK ALONE. Ko Master has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dave Batista's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Batista.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Batista holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Batista takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Master avoids the body shot from Batista.
Master tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Batista paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Batista closes the distance and clinches up with Master, looking for a takedown. Batista pushes Master against the cage but Master circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Master misses with an uppercut. Batista saw that one coming.

Master throws a hook to the side of Batista's head but Batista sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Master moves in looking to clinch but Batista pushes him off.
Master throws a lazy right hand but Batista sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Batista closes the distance and clinches up with Master, looking for a takedown. Batista pushes Master against the cage but Master circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Master counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Batista is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Batista closes this distance looking for a takedown but Master circles away.

Master throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Batista takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Master scores with the left hand. Batista knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Dave Batista has been cut.
Batista takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Batista closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Master looks for the body kick but Batista saw that one coming.
Master is looking to land body kicks.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Master.
Master moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Master looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Master stops Batista from getting back to his feet.
Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Batista. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Master has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Batista works to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Master wants to control from the top but Batista keeps moving.

Batista working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Master doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Batista is tightening it up a little... Master has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Master reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Master taps out! Nice BJJ there by Batista!

In his post fight interview, Dave Batista started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
