The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bellido fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mathews to the ground. Bellido is now in Mathews's guard.
Bellido throws a strike but Mathews rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bellido has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mathews changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bellido tries to avoid it but Mathews manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bellido to the ground. Bellido escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
