The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Langley is on top in guard.

Langley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jakort's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jakort's back!

Langley is trying to stick to Jakort's back but Jakort is turning into Langley. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Langley's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jakort.

Langley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jakort gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Langley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jakort is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Langley.
Langley is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Langley throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Jakort has hold of Langley's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Langley tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jakort cranks the arm and Langley screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Langley, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
