Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cobb Nash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Eccleston!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eccleston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nash swivels and escapes.
Eccleston fails with the takedown
and Nash counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Eccleston thinking.
Nash works Eccleston's body with a nice hook.
Eccleston misses with a takedown

and Nash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Eccleston won't be happy with that.
Cobb Nash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christopher Eccleston.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nash just content to control the position.

Nash tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nash has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Nash advances to mount.
Nash prevents Eccleston from getting the reversal.

Nash controlling the position easily from mount.
Eccleston really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Nash landing strikes, looking to finish!
Nash putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Eccleston holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Nash tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Nash seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Eccleston for as long as he can get away with.
Nash lands a nice shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nash looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nash cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Eccleston is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cobb Nash dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Eccleston circles away from the clinch attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Nash.
Nash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eccleston fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cobb Nash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nash throws a jab when Eccleston was well out of range.
Nash loads up on a big right hand but Eccleston slips the punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nash. That's going to slow Eccleston down.
Nash digs a good hook to Eccleston's body.
Eccleston is breathing heavily.

Nash scores with a body shot.

Nash weaves into range and cracks Eccleston right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Eccleston goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Nash is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
