Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Yzerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao comes to the ring accompanied by The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. Yzerman has chosen the captain as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao misses with a head kick.
Yzerman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Mark Yzerman has been cut.
Brandao throws a right and a left that Yzerman avoids nicely.

Yzerman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yzerman is looking to take a break and control but Brandao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yzerman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brandao defends it well.
Brandao manages to get to full guard.

Yzerman throws a strike but Brandao rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brandao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Yzerman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brandao is aware though and is defending well.

Brandao postures up in Yzerman's guard and throws a big left but Yzerman blocks it.

Yzerman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brandao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brandao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brandao wants to stand but Yzerman is controlling his posture from full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yzerman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brandao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yzerman on the ground.

Brandao ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Yzerman out cold! The fight is over!
