Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hayakawa!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayakawa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kim lands with an uppercut that bounces Hayakawa off the cage and back into rage.
Hayakawa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kim moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kim misses with a wild combination.
Kim clobbers Hayakawa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kim misses with a series of wild punches.
Kim does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kim lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kim.
Hayakawa is rocked!
Kim scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hayakawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Kim finish him?
Kim drops Hayakawa with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hayakawa! Kim dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Mikey Kim!
