The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grant looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Grant is looking to regain half guard here but Anton keeps moving and retains side control.
Anton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Anton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grant keeps working.
Sloppy strikes there by Anton.

Grant on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Grant can't do much from the bottom here.
Grant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Grant is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anton connects with a decent elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
