Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuichiro Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jammpa Tuominen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jammpa Tuominen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jammpa Tuominen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi shoots in and drives through. Tuominen sprawls well.
Takeshi shoots for a takedown but Tuominen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Tuominen as Takeshi shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuichiro Takeshi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takeshi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tuominen moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Takeshi is breathing heavily.
Tuominen lands a big shot that drops Takeshi! Can he finish him?

It looks like Yuichiro Takeshi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Tuominen wants to stand but Takeshi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tuominen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Takeshi wants to sweep but no luck.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tuominen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Takeshi has a takedown stuffed.
Nice takedown defense from Tuominen. No joy for Takeshi on that attempt.

Tuominen thuds his shin into the meat of Takeshi's side.
Crunch! Tuominen slams his shin into Takeshi's torso.
Tuominen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Takeshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tuominen but Tuominen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A bone on bone clash there as Tuominen blocks the leg kick.
Tuominen pushes Takeshi away with a front kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Takeshi tries a head kick but it misses.

Tuominen avoids the head kick by Takeshi.
Takeshi throws a head kick that misses.
Tuominen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takeshi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tuominen - the referee stops the clock and Takeshi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tuominen. Takeshi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Takeshi takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tuominen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Takeshi shoots in and drives through. Tuominen sprawls well.

Takeshi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tuominen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tuominen is trying to control Takeshi's posture but Takeshi avoids it.
Tuominen on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Tuominen wants to control but Takeshi postures up.
Takeshi works to advance to full mount. Tuominen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Takeshi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Tuominen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Takeshi locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tuominen is forced to tap!
