Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Donnely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Damajur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donnely comes into the arena with Hayling- FC Kahuna blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damajur doesn't manage to clinch there - Donnely circles away.
Liam Donnely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damajur shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donnely pinned against the cage. Donnely gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Donnely looking to score a takedown here. Damajur is defending well but Donnely drives through and ends up in Damajur's guard.
Donnely postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Damajur is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Donnely feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Damajur tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donnely swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Donnely shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Donnely showed some decent athleticism there.
