Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Palluch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Palluch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Palluch is looking to advance position but Jenkins won't allow it.

Palluch is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jenkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Palluch.

Palluch has hold of Jenkins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jenkins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Palluch is looking for a kimura but Jenkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Palluch to get the leverage.

Palluch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jenkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jenkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
