Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Cattell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cattell comes to the cage accompanied by Brooks & Dunn - My Maria . Holmes has chosen F**king Hostile as his entrance music. Herman Holmes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Cattell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Herman Holmes!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cattell misses with a jab to the body
and Holmes counters by moving into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Cattell fails to land.
Holmes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cattell has him pressed against the cage.
Cattell misses with the head strike.
Cattell tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Holmes blocks an uppercut.
Cattell throws a punch but it's blocked by Holmes.
A head punch on the inside from Cattell fails to land.
Holmes breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Cattell misses the target.
Cattell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holmes at a distance.
Cattell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cattell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cattell lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Herman Holmes has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cattell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Holmes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holmes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cattell thows a body shot but no joy.
Holmes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Holmes doesn't manage to clinch there - Cattell circles away.
The crowd cheers as Cattell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Holmes doesn't seem phased though.
Cattell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cattell lands a jab to Holmes's midsection.
Holmes looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut lands for Cattell. That snapped Holmes's head back.
Cattell works Holmes's body with a nice hook.
Cattell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Holmes doesn't seem bothered though.
Holmes moves out of range of the strikes.
Cattell looks to score with a jab to the body but Holmes is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cattell sizes up Holmes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That has opened up Herman Holmes's cut even more.
Holmes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Holmes is rocked!
Cattell cracks Holmes with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Holmes tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cattell pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Holmes is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Cattell!
