Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean comes to the cage accompanied by You're the Best. The crowd seem to be enjoying Aybara's choice of entrance music: Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter. Perrin Aybara is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Aybara instigates a clinch.

Dean doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Aybara holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Aybara gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dean.
Aybara lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Bobby Dean has been cut.

Aybara manages to break the clinch.
Bobby Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dean tries for a takedown but Aybara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Aybara is looking to clinch but Dean is avoiding it.

Aybara throws a strike but Dean rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dean wants to control from the top but Aybara keeps moving.

Dean working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Aybara's head.
Dean slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Aybara is trying to escape the position but Dean is controlling the position.
Dean cracks Aybara with a big right hand but Aybara just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dean content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Dean's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dean tries to advance to mount but Aybara denies him.
Aybara defending against the ground and pound.
Dean controls the position.

Dean is working to tighten is grip on Aybara's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Aybara has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dean is really squeezing tight and eventually Aybara passes out! Dean breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
