The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantilones stalks Antun and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Antun's face. Antun staggers backwards, shaken.
Antun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Antun wants to clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Antun.
Antun fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pantilones digs a good hook to Antun's body.
Pantilones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pantilones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

A jab lands there for Pantilones.
Pantilones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Antun wants to clinch.
Pantilones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Antun. Antun circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Antun moves in looking to clinch but Pantilones pushes him off.
Antun ducks right into an uppercut from Pantilones.
Pantilones throws a right hand that Antun ducks under and follows up with a left that Antun also avoids with ease.
A telegraphed right hand from Pantilones misses the target.
Antun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pantilones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Antun takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Pantilones lands a right hook to the body.

Antun clinches up with Pantilones and pushes him back against the cage.
Pantilones lands with a light punch inside.
Pantilones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pantilones has Antun pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pantilones pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Antun tumbling to the mat - Pantilones dives into Antun's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Pantilones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pantilones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pantilones wants to control from the top but Antun keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Antun is on top in guard.
Antun wants to stand but Pantilones is controlling his posture from full guard.

Pantilones is looking for a triangle but Antun pushes his legs off easily.

Pantilones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Antun manages to get himself to full guard.

Pantilones is pushing down on Antun's leg trying to pass to half guard. Antun is fighting to maintain full guard but Pantilones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pantilones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pantilones wants to control but Antun is keeping him busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Antun is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gatto Pantilones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
