Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalevi Kumijalka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug DeSouza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumijalka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, compella & the twister - put ur weed up. DeSouza has chosen freedom as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalevi Kumijalka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Doug DeSouza!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSouza circles away from the clinch attempt.
DeSouza tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
DeSouza looks to land a left hand but Kumijalka moved out of range nicely.
Kumijalka doesn't manage to clinch there - DeSouza circles away.

and DeSouza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
DeSouza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
DeSouza lands with an overhand left.
Kumijalka tries to close the distance and clinch up but DeSouza swats him away and circles back towards the center.

DeSouza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kumijalka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

DeSouza is working for a kimura but Kumijalka is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeSouza stalling away here and it's allowed Kumijalka to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kumijalka wants to get back to his feet but DeSouza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kumijalka has his hands clasped together but DeSouza extends an breaks Kumijalka's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by DeSouza.
