Pulli comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West - Amazing. Mababa has chosen Street Fighting Man as his entrance music. Chaka Mababa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulli scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mababa wants to control but Pulli is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mababa wants to get back to his feet.
Mababa won't allow Pulli to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pulli slows the pace down in half guard.
Pulli has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mababa tries to kick Pulli off but Pulli keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pulli throws a hook but Mababa blocks it.
Mababa tries to close the distance and clinch but Pulli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mababa's corner calls for a 1-2. Mababa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pulli closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pulli lands in his opponent's guard.
Pulli might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mababa wants to stand but Pulli is controlling the position.

Pulli postures up in Mababa's guard and throws a big left but Mababa blocks it.
Pulli loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Pulli throws a strike but Mababa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Pulli looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mababa postures up.
Pulli preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mababa is looking to work some ground and pound but Pulli has wrist control.
Mababa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pulli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mababa defends it easily.

Mababa misses with a head shot. Pulli uses the momentum to regain guard.
Pulli is looking for a triangle but Mababa pushes his legs off easily.
Pulli is breathing heavily.

Pulli wants to sweep here but Mababa controlling him for the moment.
Mababa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mababa's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pulli utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mababa postures up in Pulli's guard and throws a big left but Pulli blocks it.
Mababa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mababa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mababa.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mababa lands with a right hand.
Mababa lands a big head kick that sends Pulli tumbling to the mat! Mababa takes a step backwards and waves Pulli back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pulli is rocked!

Mababa lands a big right hook! Pulli looks hurt but is still standing! Mababa lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Pulli falls down and Mababa dives in with a huge hammer fist! Pulli's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Mababa runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chaka Mababa!
After the big win, Chaka Mababa made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Murder Inc. and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
