The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Opasen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boy sprawls well initially but Opasen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Opasen wants to work for an arm triangle but Boy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Opasen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boy is just riding it out for now. Opasen eventually gives up the hold.

Opasen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Osobo Opasen will probably get the nod.
