Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yance Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sackett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Snoop Dogg - Vato. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lester Howell was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lester Howell!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell throws a head kick that half lands.
Howell throws a right hand that Sackett ducks under and follows up with a left that Sackett also avoids with ease.

Sackett clinches.
Sackett lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sackett goes for a takedown attempt but Howell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sackett throws a big shot that misses.
Sackett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sackett keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Howell takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sackett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Howell.
Howell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Howell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sackett. Sackett obviously looking to wear him down.
Sackett sizes up Howell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Lester Howell has been cut.
Howell takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Howell looks gassed!
Howell scores with a body shot.
Howell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sackett sprawls well. Sackett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Howell gets slowly back to his feet.
Howell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Howell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sackett throws a hook to the side of Howell's head but Howell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Howell misses with a right hand
and Sackett counters with a body kick.
Sackett lands with a nice combination. Howell backs away looking to recover.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sackett shoots in looking for a takedown. Howell tries to sprawl out of it but Sackett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Howell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sackett lands with an overhand left.
Sackett lands with an uppercut that bounces Howell off the cage and back into range.

That has opened up Lester Howell's cut even more.
Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Howell.
Sackett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sackett scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Howell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sackett connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sackett scores with a nice right hand.
Sackett ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sackett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Howell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sackett moves in looking to clinch but Howell pushes him off.
Sackett will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yance Sackett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sackett, as that shot connected.
Sackett lands a jab.

The cut above Lester Howell's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sackett lands with a kick to the temple. Howell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Howell is rocked!
Howell misses with an uppercut. Sackett saw that one coming.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sackett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A slow jab from Howell misses its intended target.
Howell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Howell is still on wobbly legs! Can Sackett finish him?

Lester Howell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sackett lands a slapping body shot.
Howell seems to have recovered his senses.

Sackett steps into range and cracks Howell with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Howell flops backwards and Sackett dives into his guard looking to finish!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sackett arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Howell's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
