Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manfred E Toeson Esq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nix comes into the arena with Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage blaring out of the sound system. Toeson Esq is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Am the Walrus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toeson Esq tries to land a front kick but Nix steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nix moves out of range as Toeson Esq throws a body kick.

Nix slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Toeson Esq bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Nix shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Toeson Esq napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The strikes coming from Nix are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Nix is looking to take a break and control but Toeson Esq is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
