Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elgin Viray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valdir Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viray comes to the cage accompanied by My Life be like - Grits. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Viray shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pereira's guard.

Viray missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pereira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pereira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Viray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Viray has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pereira off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That's time! Viray's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Pereira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Viray manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pereira might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Viray kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pereira tries to close the distance and clinch but Viray swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well Pereira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
