The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Smith as To Short shoots in.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but To Short was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Smith listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
To Short has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smith.
A combination from To Short does no damage.
To Short tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice body punch from Smith.
Smith lands with a good body shot.
To Short tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.
To Short fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith looks for the body kick but To Short saw that one coming.
To Short throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
To Short checks a leg kick.
To Short takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
To Short tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

To Short moves out of range of the body kick.
To Short pushes Smith away with a front kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

To Short looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Poor strikes thrown by To Short there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

To Short has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Smith's face.

To Short postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Smith in real trouble here! The ref calls for Smith to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
