The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruricovich shoots for a takedown but Maxis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ruricovich uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maxis.
Ruricovich walks into a jab.
Ruricovich takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ruricovich doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ruricovich is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruricovich misses with a takedown attempt - Maxis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maxis with a jab.
Maxis takes a swing at Ruricovich's ribcage but misses.
Maxis lands a glancing blow to the side of Ruricovich's head.
Maxis cracks Ruricovich with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maxis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ruricovich to stand back up!
It looks like Ivan Ruricovich has been cut.
