Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Darley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Jangla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Darley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justin Jangla!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darley tries to clinch there but Jangla circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Darley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Darley with a poor takedown

and Jangla counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jangla.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Darley is pulling down on Jangla's head. It's preventing any offense from Jangla, at least for the moment.
Jangla trying to control the position from guard on top but Darley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jangla cracks Darley with a solid left hand.
Jangla works over Darley with some ground and pound from guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jangla wants to control from the top but Darley keeps moving.

Jangla tries to free his leg and advance position but Darley is retaining full guard.
Jangla has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Darley is trying to keep Jangla in close.
Jangla throwing strikes from guard but Darley blocks nicely.
Darley keeping moving, preventing Jangla from controlling successfully.
Jangla won't allow Darley to sweep him here.
Darley can't keep his opponent in guard - Jangla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jangla working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jangla seems to be looking for submissions.
Darley is staying active underneath Jangla, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jangla drops an elbow to the side of Darley's head.
Jangla content to control rather than advance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like Jangla might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Darley is not content to let Jangla control the position.

Jangla seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jangla is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jangla is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jangla is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jangla sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Darley defending well though.

Jangla seems to be looking for submissions.
Darley is in trouble now - Jangla has advanced to mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Darley wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jangla.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Jangla dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Darley is looking to stand up but Jangla isn't so interested in that idea.
Jangla postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Jangla slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jangla working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jangla controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jangla in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Darley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jangla wants to pass the guard but Darley is keeping the position.
Jangla missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jangla pushes down on Darley's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Jangla slips a nice elbow through Darley's hands, connecting with Darley's forehead.
Jangla sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Jangla scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jangla has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Darley scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jangla manages to mount him!
Jangla looking to finish Darley with some ground and pound. This is bad for Darley!

BOOM! Jangla connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jangla is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Jangla!
