Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Brawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck White!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for White. That snapped Brawn's head back.
Brawn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brawn misses with a double jab
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
White avoids a punch combination nicely.
White moves away from the strike by Brawn.
White looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brawn shoots in but no luck this time.
White dodges the punch combination from Brawn.
White connects with a solid leg kick.
Brawn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brawn missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
White controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Brawn throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Brawn wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.
White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brawn.
Brawn tries to pass to full mount but White defends it.
White controlling the position for now.
Brawn is keen to just control but White is a slippery customer.
White holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brawn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as White backs up against the cage.
White slaps away a takedown attempt from Brawn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
White slips a jab and a cross from Brawn.
White scores with a body shot.
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brawn.
Brawn shoots in but White avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Brawn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brawn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and White connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brawn scrambles back to his feet.
Brawn fails with a takedown attempt.
White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

White is working for a guillotine from mount but Brawn frees his head quite easily.
White avoids the attempt from Brawn to control.
White landing strikes, looking to finish!
Brawn takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
White is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Brawn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brawn tries to hold on but White postures up.
White with the ground and pound from mount.
Brawn is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooh, big shot lands for White! Brawn is hurt baaadly! White is firing away with more strikes - Brawn is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck White!
