Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ippo Makunouchi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi closes the distance and clinches up with Specialist, looking for a takedown. Makunouchi pushes Specialist against the cage but Specialist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Makunouchi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd cheers as Specialist lands an impressive looking overhand right. Makunouchi doesn't seem phased though.
Makunouchi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Makunouchi.
Makunouchi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Specialist did well to prevent Makunouchi getting side control.

Horrible takedown by Makunouchi or perhaps it was just good defense by Specialist which made him look bad.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Makunouchi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Makunouchi wants to stand up but Specialist is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Specialist is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Specialist's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Top Team Specialist will probably get the nod.
That's time! Specialist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Makunouchi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Specialist counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Makunouchi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Specialist sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Makunouchi dives in and grabs Specialist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Specialist pushes down on Makunouchi's head and hops out.

Specialist cracks Makunouchi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Specialist tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Specialist comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Specialist connects with a right hand. Makunouchi shakes it off.
Specialist misses with a looping left.
Makunouchi seems to have recovered his senses.

Specialist pounces like a tiger and cracks Makunouchi with a vicious hook! Makunouchi is down but not out! Specialist follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
