Powers comes to the cage accompanied by ASAP Rocky - Peso. Prizefighter has chosen Under and Over it by ffdp as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, HeavyWeight Prizefighter!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Powers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Prizefighter - the referee stops the clock and Powers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Prizefighter. Powers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Prizefighter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Good exchange - Powers coming out on top.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Prizefighter.
Prizefighter shoots in but no luck this time.
Prizefighter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like David Powers has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Prizefighter.
A solid body kick from Prizefighter.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Prizefighter thows a body shot but no joy.
Prizefighter misses with a takedown attempt - Powers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
David Powers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of HeavyWeight Prizefighter.

Prizefighter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Powers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Powers tries to get out of the position.
Prizefighter in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Prizefighter is working Powers over with some ground and pound from side control.
Powers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prizefighter on the ground.

Prizefighter lands a nice forearm strike.
Prizefighter works to advance to full mount. Powers defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Powers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Prizefighter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Powers is looking to escape.

Powers can't escape the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
