Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jude Cotterell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Suarez's choice of entrance music: Amazing. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suarez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cotterell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Suarez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cotterell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Suarez, into his guard.

Suarez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cotterell is aware though and is defending well.

Suarez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cotterell's guard.

Suarez drops back looking for a leg! Cotterell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cotterell manages to kick Suarez off! Suarez jumps back into Cotterell's guard.

Cotterell wants to get back to his feet but Suarez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Suarez passes Cotterell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Cotterell is not content to let Suarez control the position.
Suarez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cotterell, who protects the arm well.
Diego Suarez has got the better of the ground game so far.

Suarez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cotterell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suarez has hold of Cotterell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Cotterell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Suarez cranks the arm and Cotterell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cotterell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
