Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Gerasimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers stuns Gerasimov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rogers throws a hook to the side of Gerasimov's head but Gerasimov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jimmy Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gerasimov tries to clinch up.
A lazy left from Rogers finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers looks to score with a jab to the body but Gerasimov is just out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rogers. Gerasimov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rogers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rogers throws a solid leg kick but Gerasimov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rogers.

Gerasimov is breathing heavily.
Rogers works Gerasimov's body with a nice hook.
Rogers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rogers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Rogers drops Gerasimov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gerasimov looks back up at him and smiles so Rogers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Alexandr Gerasimov has been cut.
Rogers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oh Gerasimov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rogers measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Gerasimov! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

A relieved looking Jimmy Rogers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
