Kuvaldin comes to the cage accompanied by Hardline - Hot Cherie. Remington is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kymani Marley - Warriors. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuvaldin misses with a body kick.
Remington misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mike Remington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Remington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kuvaldin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kuvaldin drops back looking for a leg! Remington is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Remington manages to kick Kuvaldin off! Kuvaldin jumps back into Remington's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Remington lands a head kick. Kuvaldin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Kuvaldin throws a series of punches but Remington avoids them all with ease.
Remington is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A head kick by Remington - that's a beauty! Kuvaldin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Remington can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
