Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Player (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Asscap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Player has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Player seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buster Asscap!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Player misses its intended target.
Player swings for the body but Asscap moves out of range.
Player fails to land with a series of punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Player, as that shot connected.
It looks like Buster Asscap has been cut.
Asscap tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Player was well out of range. Poor timing from Asscap.
Player lands a slapping body shot.
Player throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Asscap throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oooooh!!! Player has knocked Asscap down with a huge combo! Player steps away and waves a wobbly Asscap back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Asscap slips a jab and a cross from Player.
Player keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Asscap.
Asscap throws a leg kick that misses.
Asscap misses with a looping right.
Asscap showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Player.
Asscap throws a body punch but Player moves out of range.
John Player is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Player misses with a wild body shot.
A jab from Asscap misses.
Asscap misses with a straight left.
Player scores with a jab to the head.
Player fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Asscap manages to avoid it.
Player misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Player. Those never looked like landing.
Player swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Asscap shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Player napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Player is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Asscap asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Asscap just content to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Asscap working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Player knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Asscap on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Asscap misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Player is pushing Asscap's head away, looking to escape. Asscap manages to hold on to the position though.
Check out the look on Asscap's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Player takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Asscap wants to lay and pray for a moment but Player keeps working.
Player is pushing Asscap's head away, looking to escape. Asscap manages to hold on to the position though.
Asscap throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Asscap wants to control but Player is keeping him busy.
Asscap moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Asscap fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Asscap tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Asscap prevents Player from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Asscap trying to control the position but Player is working away.
Asscap cracks Player with a big right hand but Player just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Asscap lands a decent elbow from side control.
Player takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Asscap remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that John Player will probably get the nod.

Asscap dodges the punch combination from Player.
Asscap slips a jab and a cross from Player.
Player bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Player throws a combination. Asscap tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That has opened up Buster Asscap's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Player throws a jab but it's blocked by Asscap.
Player swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Asscap manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Player on his heels. He'll look to pass Player's guard now, I'm sure.
Asscap loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Asscap wants to control from the top but Player keeps moving.
Player is looking to stand up but Asscap isn't so interested in that idea.
Asscap is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Asscap stops Player from standing up.
Buster Asscap has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Asscap bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Asscap looks to throw the jab but Player is out of range.
Player throws a shot to the body.
Asscap throws a lazy right hand but Player sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Player avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Asscap's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Player connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Asscap scrambles back to his feet.
The cut above Buster Asscap's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Player defending well as Asscap loads up on a big left hand.
Player falls off balance throwing a combination
and Asscap counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Player!
