The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tytanowy wants to clinch.
Melvin Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tytanowy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tytanowy rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tytanowy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tytanowy dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Tytanowy's head and hops out.
Tytanowy tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnson fakes the leg kick and cracks Tytanowy in the body.
Johnson throws a one two combo.

Johnson lands a big uppercut and Tytanowy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tytanowy looks OK. Johnson waves Tytanowy back to his feet!

Janusz Tytanowy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tytanowy is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tytanowy crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tytanowy is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
