Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henry Nobility!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck WIlson!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WIlson lands with a slapping head kick.
WIlson darts in trying to clinch

and Nobility counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nobility.
WIlson misses with some punches.
WIlson pushes off an throws an elbow but Nobility leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
WIlson seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Nobility drops down looking for an ankle pick but WIlson pulls his leg out and moves away.
WIlson looks to clinch

and Nobility counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Nobility scores a nice knee to the body.

and Nobility counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nobility.

Nobility has picked WIlson up - he's going for a ride! Nobility dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nobility scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
WIlson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Nobility has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nobility lands with some strikes.
WIlson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nobility. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nobility is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. WIlson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Nobility with shots to the head and body - WIlson looks very uncomfortable down there.


WIlson is rocked!
WIlson is wriggling around trying to escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
WIlson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Nobility controlling his opponent.
WIlson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nobility looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
WIlson tries to lock up and control but Nobility gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nobility sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Nobility has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
WIlson tries to hold on but Nobility pushes him away.
Nobility scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nobility tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
WIlson is trying desperately to improve position.
Nobility fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Nobility working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. WIlson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Nobility! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Henry Nobility!
Henry Nobility spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
