Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Santi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adron Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright has chosen Elements of Life- DJ Tiesto as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Santi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Santi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright thows a body shot but no joy.
Santi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wright leaves Santi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chris Santi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright throws a hook to the side of Santi's head but Santi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Wright counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Santi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wright, pushing him back against the cage.
Wright taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Wright throws a punch but it's blocked by Santi.
Santi tries to pull guard but Wright forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Wright misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wright misses with the head strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wright.
Wright looking to stall.

Santi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wright lands a hook that snaps the head of Santi backwards.

Santi pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wright pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Santi is keeping the position for now.
Santi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wright defends it easily.

Wright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wright has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Santi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wright is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Santi pulls down on the head and he's put Wright to sleep! This one is all over!
