Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jigoro Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Elias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elias has chosen Maha Kali (live) as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jigoro Kahn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jigoro Kahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Elias!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn throws a head kick that misses.
Jigoro Kahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kahn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Elias walks into a jab.
Kahn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Elias avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kahn with a hook.
Elias on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kahn lands a head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elias blocks a head kick by Kahn.
Elias steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kahn. That one must have hurt.
Elias fails with a takedown attempt.
Kahn dips to his left and cracks Elias with an uppercut!

Elias scores a nice knee to the body.
Elias changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kahn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A head kick misses from Kahn.
Elias shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jigoro Kahn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Elias.
Elias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kahn tries to avoid it but Elias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kahn to the ground. Kahn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kahn slaps away a takedown attempt from Elias, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kahn stalks Elias and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Elias's face. Elias staggers backwards, shaken.
Elias shoots for a takedown but Kahn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Elias walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Kahn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Elias jumps guard but Kahn stands there with Elias around his waist. Elias gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kahn misses with a hook to the ribs.

Elias works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Elias missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kahn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Elias on the ground.

Elias is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Elias connects with a couple of short punches.
Kahn is looking to stand up but Elias isn't so interested in that idea.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Elias accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kahn is breathing heavily.

Elias throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Elias missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kahn trying to keep a closed guard but Elias is proving a slippery customer.

Elias drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Elias seems to have locked his on tight now - Kahn screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Elias, as he picks up the win!
