The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Polliver's waist but Polliver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Polliver throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Polliver is looking to escape.

Polliver kicks off Smith and gets to his feet.
No joy there for Polliver, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith staying out of range there.
Polliver lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Terry Smith has been cut.
Polliver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Smith takes the fight into the clinch.
Polliver slows down the pace here.
Smith keeps control of Polliver as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Polliver tries to stall but Smith uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Polliver gets underhooks to prevent Smith's takedown attempt.

Smith jumps guard but Polliver stands there with Smith around his waist. Smith gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Polliver but Polliver pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Smith tries to pass the half guard into mount. Polliver knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Smith is looking to take a break and control but Polliver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Smith seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Polliver is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
