The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voax swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thai.
Voax throws a right and a left that both miss.
Voax misses with a hook to the body
so Thai counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Voax looking to control.
Thai trying to control but Voax is working from the bottom.
Thai looking to pass the guard.
Thai avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Thai preventing the sweep.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Voax wants to stand but Thai is controlling the position.
Voax preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Voax is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Thai with a flurry of punches that miss.
Thai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Voax has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thai has managed to get both his arms back between Voax's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Voax wants to sweep here but Thai controlling him for the moment.
Voax is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Thai dives into side control.
Thai lands a decent elbow from side control.
Thai grinds an elbow into Voax's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thai creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Voax sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Voax is looking for a sweep.
Thai wants to control but Voax is keeping him busy.
Thai has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Voax is looking to regain half guard here but Thai keeps moving and retains side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Voax keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Voax is looking for a sweep.
Voax is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Voax can do anything to dispel that myth.
Voax looks like he's trying to stand up.
Thai looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Voax with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Voax wants to get back to full guard but Thai has mounted him!
Voax wants to control but Thai is having none of it.
Thai with a couple of short strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thai lands with some strikes.
Thai with good strikes from the mount here!
Thai avoids the attempt from Voax to control.
Thai putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Voax is rocked!
Thai looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Voax covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
