Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overdose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pappy Shrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdose kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Powerthirst. Shrew has chosen In The Morning as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alistair Overdose has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Overdose throws an elbow that misses. Shrew uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Overdose's guard. Nice move by Shrew!

Shrew has gone for a leg lock! Overdose slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shrew's guard.

Overdose will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Overdose throws a strike but Shrew rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Shrew is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Overdose holds on and takes a little breather.

Shrew postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Overdose is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shrew, into his guard.

Shrew escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Overdose gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Overdose postures up and lands a big shot to Shrew's brow.
Shrew utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Overdose drops back looking for a leg! Shrew is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shrew manages to kick Overdose off! Overdose jumps back into Shrew's guard.
Shrew looking to hit a scissor sweep but Overdose is one step ahead there.
Overdose is in close to Shrew's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Overdose makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Overdose thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Shrew has his foot on Overdose's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Overdose works his way back into a safe position though.
Shrew pushes Overdose off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Shrew bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Shrew uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Overdose.

Overdose lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Overdose loads up with a big shot that hurts Shrew! He's pulled Overdose in close but Overdose has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Shrew survive? More strikes from Overdose and Shrew is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
