Excellent takedown into side control there by Hopper.
Hopper goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Smith has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hopper but great work by Smith.
Hopper manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hopper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
