The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sprinkles fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shinobi to the ground. Sprinkles is now in Shinobi's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Shinobi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sprinkles defends it easily.
Shinobi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sprinkles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Shinobi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sprinkles manages to get himself to full guard.
Shinobi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shinobi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sprinkles, who protects the arm well.
