And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez thumps Cartwright with a low kick.
Sanchez throws a series of strikes that have Cartwright backpedaling.
It looks like Haus Cartwright has been cut.
Sanchez leaves Cartwright with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cartwright tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cartwright somewhat.
Cartwright misses with a low kick as Sanchez jumps back.
Cartwright throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sanchez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cartwright's knee momentarily.
Sanchez misses with a leg kick.
Cartwright throws a sloppy head kick and Sanchez moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice sprawl there from Sanchez as Cartwright shoots in.
Carmelo Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haus Cartwright.
Cartwright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sanchez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cartwright is controlling him.

Sanchez punishes Cartwright's body with a nice straight punch.

and Sanchez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanchez slips under a jab from Cartwright.
Cartwright walks into a stiff left hand from Sanchez.
Sanchez lands the left hand.
Cartwright has his takedown stuffed
and Sanchez counters with a slapping leg kick.
Cartwright looks gassed!
Sanchez connects with a right that clearly hurt Cartwright. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Sanchez proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Cartwright collapses and taps out under the pressure!
