Boyce comes to the cage accompanied by Cockney Rejects - I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles. Tommy Boyce has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danner tries a head kick but it misses.
Danner doesn't manage to clinch there - Boyce circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Danner 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Danner takes one to the side of the head.
Boyce avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Danner misses with a head kick.
Danner wants to clinch up but Boyce keeps it at a distance.
Boyce staying out of range there.
Danner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boyce.
Boyce lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Danner at a distance.
Danner missing with a left hand there. Boyce was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good standup being displayed there by Boyce as he connects with a hook.
Boyce works over Danner's head and body with a nice combination.

Danner has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boyce finds it's way round the side to connect with Danner's head.
Danner throws an overhand right that lands on Boyce's shoulder, as Boyce tries to avoid the shot.

Boyce throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Danner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Danner misses with a straight right.
A jab from Danner does it's job there.
Boyce lands with a nice body punch.
Danner throws a sloppy head kick and Boyce moves out of range easily.
Hugo Danner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boyce, right into the meat.
Danner looks gassed!
Boyce feints a jab promting Danner to slip. Boyce then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Danner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyce fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Danner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Danner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boyce lands a nice hook to Danner's body. Danner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Danner throws a jab but it's blocked by Boyce.
Boyce scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Danner doesn't seem bothered though.
Boyce lands a nice shot to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A jab lands there for Boyce.
Boyce misses with a head kick.
Boyce cracks the inside of Danner's front leg.
Danner doesn't manage to clinch there - Boyce circles away.

Boyce darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Boyce postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Danner to stand up.
Danner gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Boyce scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Boyce throws a head kick that misses.
Boyce slips under a jab from Danner.
The fight stays on the outside here - Danner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed right hand from Danner misses the target.
Danner might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Danner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Boyce goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Danner misses with a straight left.
Danner throws a head kick that misses.
Danner tries to clinch but Boyce is having none of it.
Boyce paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Boyce ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Danner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Danner is looking to break free of the clinch but Boyce has double underhooks.

Danner breaks from the clinch.
Danner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Danner misses with a head kick.
Boyce avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boyce cracks Danner with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Boyce misses with a double jab.

Boyce tries a head kick but it misses.
Boyce lands a right hook to the body.
Danner throws a hook but Boyce avoids it easily.
Danner throws a sloppy head kick and Boyce moves out of range easily.
Danner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A punch lands to the side of Danner 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Danner moves into the clinch.
Danner wants to break the clinch but can't.
Danner wants to get back to striking at distance but Boyce won't allow it.

Boyce's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Danner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Danner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boyce throws a shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boyce closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Boyce tries to pass to full mount but Danner defends it.
Boyce tries to stand and escape but Danner is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boyce swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Danner.
Boyce misses with a double jab.

Boyce instigates a clinch.

Boyce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Danner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Danner takes one on the button.
Boyce connects with a body shot.
Danner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boyce bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Danner throws a lazy right hand but Boyce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Danner misses with a looping left.
Danner misses with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boyce lands a nice shot that snaps Danner's head back.

Danner is rocked!
Boyce lands a head shot.
Danner is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyce finish him?
Danner is breathing heavily.
Boyce thuds a left hand into Danner's body.

Boyce drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Danner's head, knocking him out cold! Boyce is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

In his post fight interview, Tommy Boyce started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
