Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Maynard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman dives in and grabs Maynard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maynard pushes down on Coleman's head and hops out.
Maynard lands with a nice body kick.
Coleman takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Coleman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Coleman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Maynard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Coleman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Peter Maynard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coleman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Coleman looks gassed!
Maynard throws a head kick that Coleman semi-blocks.
Coleman takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A chopping leg kick lands by Maynard.

Maynard lands a big uppercut and Coleman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Coleman looks OK. Maynard waves Coleman back to his feet!

Coleman is rocked!
Maynard looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Maynard backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Coleman's temple! It sends Coleman violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Maynard celebrates and the doctors try to help Coleman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Peter Maynard!
