Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuragi misses with a body kick.
Sakuragi throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Angus to counter with a crisp jab.
Sakuragi misses with a double jab.
Sakuragi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sakuragi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Angus moves in looking to clinch but Sakuragi pushes him off.
Sakuragi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sakuragi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Angus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Angus tries to clinch but Sakuragi moves out of range.
Angus misses with a takedown attempt - Sakuragi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sakuragi tried to score with a low kick but Angus checks it.

Sakuragi works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Sakuragi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Angus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Sakuragi scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sakuragi throws a strike but Angus rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sakuragi is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Angus is staying active.

Sakuragi is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Angus jumps into side control!

You can see the frustration on Sakuragi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sakuragi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Angus kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Sakuragi tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Angus presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
