The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hess looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hess fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hess is defended easily by Fujichrome.
Matthew Fujichrome has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Hess.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hess.

Fujichrome shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fujichrome showed some decent athleticism there.

Hess really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fujichrome. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This one could be over very soon! Hess goes limp - he's gone! Fujichrome jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
